Yifei currently at 87th place in the Forbes List of Celebrities for China

Wan Mei tells me that "Yifei was in the Forbes List of Celebrities for China since 2005. Her position in the Forbes List continued to go up every year until 2008 when she dropped to 87th place because she didn't get as much coverage and earn as much in 2007 compared to previous years. 87th is her lowest rank since she was first listed, however the Forbes list still show that her star power is greater than her earnings - she would be in the bottom four if measure by earnings alone."

To which I wish to clarify that I was refering to the Forbes Asia print edition at newsstands last week. In it, they only printed the top 25 in a single page. Nevertheless, it is very admirable that Liu Yifei donated (one million RMB) 1,000,000.00 RMB = 145,357.00 US Dollars to the Children Fund even though Yifei did not "earn as much in 2007 compared to previous years."
