Yifei states that she does not mind bearing the hardship during filming because it is what she enjoys to do. She said that her family has helped her a lot by giving her the freedom to choose. She also goes on to state that she is responsible for all her decisions, and her family only give her advices, not making decisions for her.

Also, in the interview, Yifei revealed that when she is not engaged in her work, she spends her time going to gym, swimming and also reading books. She likes to read romance novels, and also Detective Conan comics.
